In November 2021 we ran a successful Fundraising Week. This involved multiple events taking place across the week.

Sponsored Distance: A group of our volunteers took part in a sponsored distance by walking, running and cycling in order to collectively travel as large a distance as possible. They collectively travelled 197.31 miles across the week.

Lunch and Learn Series: Three members of the legal profession delivered talks during the week covering several topics of relevance to LFLR and access to justice more widely. The talks were as follows:

• Monday 22nd November: Speaker: John Horan, Disabled Barrister practising at Cloisters Chambers. Topic: "Silent Revolution: Disabled litigants and what matters about the amendments to rule 1(6) CPR".

• Wednesday 24th November: Speaker: Andrew Sugarman, Barrister at Parklane Plowden Chambers. Topic: “How to win an Employment Tribunal case: 10 tips in 20 minutes”.

• Friday 26th November: Speaker: Lord Justice Bean of the Court of Appeal. Topic: "Pro Bono Advocacy".
